York Transport Equipment (Asia) Pte Ltd together with its various key subsidiaries in Singapore, Australia, Thailand, China and South Africa, design and manufacture YORK trailer axles, assembles trailer suspension kits and distributes a full range of truck/trailer components.
The York group of companies has been wholly owned subsidiaries of Baker Tech since the early 1990s; the trailer axle business was Baker Tech's core business till October 2007 when Baker Tech disposed 51% of its interest to TRF Singapore Pte. Ltd., a member of the TATA group of companies in India.
York's products are sold directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers of trailer builders, repair shops and major transport fleet and supported through a global network of authorised marketing partners.
