Mr Lim Ho Seng Chairman Mr Lim Ho Seng joined the Board on 1 October 1999 as an Independent Director. He was last re-elected on 26 April 2007. Mr Lim is the Chairman of the Board, Audit and Remuneration Committees of the Company. He is also a member of the Nominating Committee. Mr Lim is a former Chief Executive Officer of NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd and he also sits on the boards of several other listed companies in Singapore. Mr Lim is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Australia, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and the Singapore Institute of Directors. back to top   Dr Benety Chang Chief Executive Officer Dr Benety Chang joined the Board on 5 May 2000 and was last re-elected on 29 April 2008. He is presently the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Dr Chang is also the Deputy Chairman of PPL Shipyard Pte Ltd ("PPLS"), of which the Company has an indirect interest of 15%. PPLS specialises in the construction and repair of oil rigs and other marine related activities. Dr Chang also serves on the boards of several private companies in Singapore and he holds a MBBS degree from the University of Singapore. back to top         Mr Anthony Sabastian Aurol Chief Operating Officer Mr Anthony Sabastian Aurol joined the Board on 5 May 2000 as Executive Director. He was last re-elected on 26 April 2007. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He assists the Chief Executive Officer in the overall management and corporate development of the Group's business. Mr Aurol is also an Executive Director of PPL Shipyard Pte Ltd ("PPLS"), of which the Company has an indirect interest of 15%. PPLS specialises in the construction and repair of oil rigs and other marine related projects. Mr Aurol joined PPLS in 1998. He holds an Honours degree in Law from the University of London. back to top   Mr Tan Yang Guan Non-Executive Director Mr Tan Yang Guan joined the Board on 5 May 2000 as a Non-Executive Director. He was last re-elected on 28 April 2006. He is also a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of the Company. He is currently the Finance Director of PPL Shipyard Pte Ltd ("PPLS"), of which the Company has an indirect interest of 15%. Mr Tan started his career in audit with a public accounting firm in 1975. He joined PPLS in 1988 and is responsible for its financial and treasury management. Mr Tan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom, a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. back to top   Mr Wong Kwan Seng Robert Non-Executive Director Mr Wong Kwan Seng Robert joined the Board on 24 February 1998 as an Independent Director. He was last re-elected on 29 April 2008 and is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Wong is a lawyer by profession and practices mainly corporate law with particular emphasis in corporate finance. He has acted as solicitor in numerous initial public offers, rights issues, issues of debentures, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Mr Wong is currently an Independent Director of several other public listed companies. Mr Wong is able to share a significant amount of his legal experience and knowledge with the Company. back to top   Mr Wong Meng Yeng Independent Director Mr Wong Meng Yeng joined the Board on 3 June 2010 as an Independent Director. He is currently the Chairman of the Nominating Committee and also a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees of the Company. Mr Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1983 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1984. Apart from a stint with a US law firm, Mr Wong has been practising law in Singapore first in litigation and changing to corporate commercial law in 1989. His practice includes the establishment and structuring of companies, corporate advisory, commercial contracts, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate secretarial work.
